Why CBT isn't for me! | Lets Talk

Sat in front of yet another psychiatrist being asked the same questions over and over everytime I saw somebody new, asking me why I was sat there, what has happened me, and what I want to talk about. It took three psychiatrists for me to say enough and decide it wasn't helping me. There's only so many times you can talk about your struggles and problems without dying a little inside. I honestly hate sitting down and talking about me, I couldn't think of anything worse if I am honest. Sitting one to one with somebody and talking to them whilst they write notes on me, kills me a little inside. I hate feeling like I am an exhibit which people need to write notes on and study. I think I decided I didn't like therapy after opening up to a therapist when I was younger and having them telling me to pretend it never happened and that was the only way I would ever get better. That made me unable to let go and trust another therapist for a long time.

I decided I would give it another go a couple of years ago because I wanted to be better and the medication wasn't helping me. I would sit and talk about some of my problems but I always felt myself holding back and unable to open up about what was really wrong. Trust to me is such a big deal and I find it so hard to open up to somebody, I wanted to open up to my therapist I did but I was scared of the outcome. Would she leave me feeling worse than I already did? Would she pass me on to somebody else to deal with me, what would happen to me? I eventually opened up and my fears came true. I was referred back to my doctor as I needed to be seen by a specialist for different therapy; I was told that it would be very unlikely if CBT would actually help me. I was glad they were finally helping me by pointing me in the direction of something that would actually help me but again I was still lost about opening up again without a lead.

I am currently undergoing a different therapy called EDMR, it is harder than anything I've ever had to deal with before but I finally have hope that I may get better if I keep working towards my goal. I will keep battling with my demons and hope after this type of therapy I will have a happier outcome to feed back to you all. I would love to know how many of you have had successful CBT!

Rainbow Cake At Cloud 9 Brighton | Travel

Hey loves, how are we all? I am so excited to be bringing you this next post all about one of my fave places in the UK, as some of you may know I recently visited Brighton again (as my uncle and auntie live here, I like to come every year) and last year when we came we visited a lovely cake shop in the Laines called Cloud 9 and I was besotted with their wonderful selection of bright and fun cakes as well as their huge milkshake and ice cream offering which all are made inside of the shop. So I was more than happy to return once again this year and I was super happy to discover that nothing had really changed and the walls were still covered in colour and their cake offering was just as good as before if not even better. When we were walking past I saw their beautiful window display and couldn't help but take photos! Last year when I went I had a lovely piece of rainbow cake and it was the best cake I've EVER tasted (if you know me you'll know I eat a LOT of cake!) and I would of happily of eaten the entire thing then and there, of course if my stomach didn't get full and all that. So this year I decided I would have the same cake again as this year it looked even more amazing with the extra addition of smarties. Luke ordered a giant milkshake which I am super surprised he finished as I wouldn't of been able to in a million years. I think it is so amazing that everything in store is made out the back including their huge collection of ice cream flavours! As well as this they create gorgeous bespoke cakes for all occasions and I saw some adorable ones they had created in the past for clients. If you love cake/ice cream/milkshake or even just adorable places with cute decor Cloud 9 is for you. Now let the dribbling commence with some beautiful pics!

Urban Decay Vice XX Reloaded Palette First Impressions | Beauty

Recently I was surprised by this lovely limited edition Urban Decay palette coming through my letterbox, I hadn't really heard anything about this palette so I was super excited to see what shades lay within the packaging and if I would love them as much as the other Vice palettes. I thought I'd share my first thoughts with you on this palette in this post and then if you want a full review with swatches I can make that happen at a later date.

The packaging like all of the other Vice palettes is fun and still contains that glamour element. The outer packing of this palette really caught my eye and I love how the pink and purples blend so well. With the actual packaging of the palette I love the button you have to press to open up the palette, I also found it stays upright and doesn't fall back when you are trying to apply makeup like the previous Vice palettes. The overall design of the palette is sleek and focuses on the shadows within.

When I opened this palette I wasn't sure where to look first, so many beautiful and bright shades caught my eye. From a beautiful pearly pink to glitter to a variety of glitter shades. I noticed some shades which I wasn't so keen on like Mildew and Misdemeanour BUT I also noticed some shades which I have wondered ever since how I coped without having them before; some of these shades are Midnight Cowboy, 501 and Asphyxia. I feel like the palette is full of vibrant fun colours similar to the Alice palette although I feel like I wouldn't know where to start with these shades I am going to give them a good go. Some of the shades have been featured in previous palettes such as the Vice palette, and also vintage shades which have been around for ageeees. As well as 7 of the best selling singles!

The palette is made up of a variety of finishes including matte and shimmer ones, my favourite finishes in the palette are the matte ones as they are easy to build although I do love all of the others; the palette is made up of matte, shimmer, micro glitter and metallic shades.

I hope you enjoyed my first impressions on this palette!

Equity Release | Lets Talk

It's back, I am finally back to doing my weekly chats with you lovely lot after taking a little bit of a break. As some of my more regular readers will know, Wednesday is my lets talk day. Where I will talk about issues which I find important to talk about, not always the most interesting of posts but I like to be informative and share some information with you lot. Today we are talking Equity release, Saga has asked me to write this post to share with my readers all about equity release and why it is important. First things first if you are unsure about what exactly Equity Release is you can read up on it here. The reason I am talking about it here on my blog is because I am trying to get my own finances in order and have been reading up different ways in how to do this. I have wrote posts about it on my blog previous including; budgeting as a student and also why you need to manage your money. So lets crack on to the post and I hope you find this somewhat useful.

So equity release in short is a way of unlocking some of the value in your house by receiving a lump sum of money which is tax free. You can use the money to live off or even just to buy something you need like a car or even to pay off other debts! There is a lot to it and I don't want to go on with lots of details but for those who own their own home it is totally worth looking into if you need money elsewhere. Some of the benefits are:

  • You continue to live in your home exactly the same as before.
  • You can release the cash when and as you need it.
There are so many things people take the release for and it is a super interesting topic so I polled my Twitter followers to ask what they would do with the money and the results actually surprised me. 42% of the people who took the poll said they would use the money to clear debt, I would totally spend it on doing up my house personally. Although it does make sense to clear off other debts with the money and maybe I would do that. I was shocked that only 8% of the people would use the money for a car, I assumed that would be one of the top ones.

I hope you found this post some what useful, if you enjoyed it let me know in the comments.

Yankee Candle Warm Summer Nights Review | Lifestyle

Hey guys, how are we all? Today I am bringing you another collection from Yankee Candle, I will forever feature the best Yankee Candles on my blog as they are always a firm favourite with you lot and it gives me an excuse to keep trying new candles. This time I am bringing you the lovely Warm Summers Nights range and with it being summer I thought it would be the perfect time to feature them. There are four candles in the collection but I am only featuring three of them today. The three I am featuring are Dreamy Summer Nights, Sunset Breeze and Flowers In The Sun. You can also get a fourth called Passion Fruit Martini. I hope you enjoy this review and let me know which your favourite is below. Also as you have probably got from previous reviews I am terrible at describing so good luck with understanding me! If you want to read some previous Yankee Candle reviews I have written about the Riviera Escape, Pure Essence and the Easter Range.

Warm Summer Nights

Dreamy Summer Nights:
A beautiful calming fragrance which is perfect for relaxing after a long day. An underline scent of vanilla with a sweet and calming smell throughout. Yankee Candle say: "A relaxing blend of vanilla bean, heliotrope and a hint of woodiness - it spreads the subtle magic of a warm night in soft bloom." This candle is a seriously good gift for anyone who enjoys the more background candles as opposed to the strong in your face ones. Not too sweet and in your face, the perfect amount of vanilla for a good old relaxing time.

Sunset Breeze:
Strolling along the beach in the evening with the wind through your hair, a refreshing scent for those who love the smell of a sunset breeze. Not overpowering at all. A beautiful tropical smelling candle, perfect for freshening up any room and giving those summer vibes all year round. The smell of mango and peach come out in this candle and leave me craving more.

Flowers In The Sun:
One of my faves out of the three, a super lovely smell of orange comes through. I love the feeling it gives you, this is summer. A perfect floral scent for any floral lover, the candle reminds me of a love child of flowers and fruit. Smells lush and not overpowering at all, perfect for those who love a background candle as opposed to an in your face one.

Jamie's Italian Birmingham Review | Food

Recently I was kindly offered the chance to go review Jamie's Italian in Birmingham, I am a massive fan of Italian food so of course, I jumped at the chance. I went to the restaurant in Birmingham city centre which is about half an hour away from me on the train, when we arrived we were asked if a seat indoors would be okay as all of the seats outside were taken. We were taken to our seats and given the menus, our server told us about the cocktail on the specials board which sounded amazing, so I went for it. Luke had a fresh lemonade. He also offered us water for our table (always a great thing in my opinion) It took a while for me to decide what to have for my meal and in the end, I went for the red pepper soup and Luke had Fritto Misto which is fish and squid tossed in fennel spiced flour! We also had a bread basket to accompany our starters, my soup was so amazing and had so much flavour.

For my main, I went for a yummy veggie bolognese which was jam-packed with lentils, mushrooms and herbs. It was super different to any veggie bolognese that I've had before but it seemed somewhat healthier. Luke had a chicken burger which was made with the thighs instead of the breast and our server told him it was healthier and a better cut. We also had two sides of their funky chips which were insanely good, seasoned with garlic and parsley, I was in love. Throughout the meal, our server was charismatic, funny and lovely and it added to the charm of the place. For dessert we had three scoops of ice cream, mine was salted caramel, with two chocolate and a perfect amount of honeycomb pieces, drizzled with chocolate sauce. Luke went for the chocolate, vanilla and salted caramel, as well as the honeycomb pieces and his, was topped with butterscotch sauce.

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Jamie's and I will be going back soon, I have wanted to go for a while but didn't know that the pricing was so reasonable and they also offer amazing deals throughout the week for a £10.95 super lunch for two courses! As well as an evening meal for three courses only costing £18.95. Bargain.

My Favourite Food Places In America! | Travel

Good morning all, how are we doing? Today I am bringing you a post which when the first time I did it was super popular so I decided to bring you a part two, that post was my favourite places to eat in Florida! I decided to go for America as a whole because I am unsure of which places have what restaurants, I am visiting America again THIS MONTH and I am going to Pittsburgh which is where my dad works! If you know me well you'll know I am obsessed with food and I cannot help but love it and it appears to be that a lot of my readers are the same. I hope you enjoy this post and if you have any places which you think I should check out feel free to leave them in the comments.

The Cheesecake Factory:
As soon as I knew I was going to America for the first time in 2012 I knew I had to try as many places as possible, in fact I set it as my personal goal to eat as many fast food places as possible and my dads friends were more than happy to oblige. The Cheesecake Factory was one of the few places which I didn't eat fast food at, and in fact I had a lovely pasta dish which I remember taking it back to my hotel as it was massive and along with a fat piece of cheesecake. The cheesecake factory is filled with a variety of different cheesecakes which all look insane! This year I will be trying the red velvet cheesecake for sure.

Eat N Park:
When I saw the advert for this on television I had to convince my dad to take me, my dad on the other hand said it looked like a pile of overpriced *insert word here*, he agreed in the end. When we arrived we were greeted with a huge buffet of goodness, and as you may know breakfast is my favourite meal of the day so I was super happy with this. I would love to return to go to try another meal there.

Liberty Tree Taven:
This lovely stately feel restaurant is located in Liberty square whilst at the Magic Kingdom park, I visited this restaurant when I went to Florida, it was full of old styled furniture and had a very luxary feel about it, I loved the inside and the menu was fabulous also.

I had to include Wendy's in this list as there isn't a fast food joint that comes anywhere near Wendy's not even you Mcdonalds! With an amazing choice of burgers, lovely fries and huge drinks, I love going to Wendy's, quick and easy food which tastes insanely good!

The Summer Edit #1 | Fashion

Hey you lovely lot, how are we all? Something a bit different on the blog today, a post that actually includes snippets of my own face! When it comes to featuring myself on my blog I am very self conscious and don't tend to do it often but today I fancied featuring a bit of myself including my face, in this awesome post about two things I wouldn't been without this summer. I hope you enjoy this post and let me know if you want more posts featuring me.

My summer style isn't the typical shorts and a tee, I am always in a dress, it has to be a dress. Without a dress, I feel lost. Primark has some fabulous dresses and when in Brighton I completely rinsed my bank balance with by purchasing some gorgeous pieces. I am mostly a backpack kinda person, I find them so much easier to cart around, especially on long days I was kindly sent this Love Moschino one from Tessuti* who have a massive range of designer pieces, including brands like Hunter and Vivienne Westwood. When I saw this gorgeous backpack I knew it was meant to be, it is in at the moment with this patch styled bag. The bag retails at £170.00, and feels amazing to wear, its lightweight, looks fun and is generally a fabulous bag made by one of my favourite designers. I think it is a great summer staple as it is easy to carry things and also can hold a lot without feeling like there is pressure on the bag (hellooo high street bags!)

My next staple is these gorgeous sunglasses from Ralph Lauren which came from Sunglasses Shop* who if you haven't heard of before are a fabulous stockist for many brands including Gucci and Tom Ford. I fell in love with these Ralph Lauren frames and they were able to put prescription lenses in them, perfect for me as I don't wear contacts (I really need to start doing) they also provided the original lenses which are fabulous as when I start wearing contacts I can still wear them! The sunglasses were £116 which is pretty good for a pair of designer glasses with prescription lenses. Buying sunglasses online usually freaks me out as I have such a weird face shape hardly anything suits me, but I fell in love with these online and decided I would wear them regardless (luckily it paid off for me) I am so in love with them and for a while when I had them it wasn't sunny and I was so annoyed as I just wanted to wear them! But now the sun has finally arrived (well it was sunny when I was writing this!) I am able to wear them woo.

I hope you enjoyed this fashion styled post!

Dear Outfit, We Need To Talk.

This doesn't happen often as I am very much stick to the schedule kind of girl when it comes to my blog, but today something happened which I cannot ignore. Like most things I want to talk about I bring to my blog for you lot to read. I live in a small town which until two weeks ago had hardly any shops, each week it has been opening a variety of shops and today it was time for one of the shops I was most excited about; Outfit. If you don't know what outfit is, basically it is a huge shop which is filled with mini-shops like Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, Burton and more. I saw a sign earlier in the week saying the first 50 people to go to the shop will receive a gift card of £10 which was a pretty exciting prospect.

When I arrived it was fairly busy as to be expected as M&S had also opened, but after a town has been Topshop less for a while it was totally needed that I went there first. I saw the girl on the door still handing out gift cards and I was super excited as I was going to get one. Two teenage girls in crop tops with lots of make-up on walked in ahead of me and were both handed gift cards, when it came to my turn she looked away same with the woman behind me. When I was stood in the shop I noticed she had given the two pretty girls behind a gift card each. I thought maybe it was an error and just went to have a look around the shop. Whilst in the shop I was suffering from really bad pain so I decided to go take a breather outside and sit on the bench next to the shop. I was sat there for around 10 minutes and realised quickly that it wasn't a mistake and in fact, they were intentionally giving certain people gift cards. Whilst I was sat there I noticed that the younger skinny and fashionable women were given cards on entry and the older women or overweight ones like myself were not.

When I got home it also dawned on me that NO men had received one which I was watching, although outfit stocks men's clothes as well as for women. I took to Twitter in fury when I got home and was sent a ton of notifications about how out of order it was. I was furious that a company which is SO big and has so much power treats people differently. I decided to run a Twitter poll which within 15 minutes had over 70 replies. The question was do people who are pretty get treated differently and the poll so far is showing 71% for yes and 23% for sometimes. So it is obviously a problem which happens. I was reached out to by Kirsty who told me she has relieved similar discrimination at a nightclub where women who were skinny and pretty were let in for free and those who weren't were let in for £20. Gross right? She also told me she and Amie had written posts about this issue and they both rang so true to me, I knew I had to share them with you.

Whilst I was replying to comments on Twitter about my experience I had a tweet from Outfit pop up asking me for my email, so I sent it to them. Shortly after I received an email back, the email stated "The promotion girls are not part of the Arcadia Group, and therefore aren't representatives of Outfit. This behaviour is not something we condemn." they also offered me a gift card for a gesture of good will. Something still doesn't sit right with me? I sent an email back with my concerns and also asking what the policy was on the orignal set of gift cards as some of those people were NOT the 50th, way past it, maybe it was the 50th prettiest people to enter the store? I don't know. I feel like this an issue which has gone on for TOO LONG and I don't feel like anybody should be made to feel any less worth than anybody else due to their weight, colour, whether they wear make-up, or if they are worthy of shopping in a particular shop. I just wanted to say thanks to all of the bloggers who have reached out to me this afternoon, you've made me feel so much better about myself.

Haulin' With GoSend | Lifestyle

Recently I was contacted by the lovely Mellisa from GoSend asking if I wanted to try out their service and I obviously agreed! She told me Go Send wanted my honest opinion of their service and to share it with my readers; I couldn't wait to go online and get shopping. The first shop I went to was Sephora of course; I knew there was a new Kat Von D palette out and I had to get it so I spent $49 doing so. Following this, I went on Bath and Body works which is one of my favourite shops in the States and I decided I would pick up some hand sanitizers to push me on until I go. I was tempted by the candles but I didn't want to risk something I hadn't smelt so I thought I best wait. Next, I knew I had to go visit Yankee Candle, as they have the BIGGEST ranges and they always look really cool, I picked up a few bits from there which I am super happy with. Then off to Target I went, this is my go-to place for sweets and gum; I went for a large packet of my favourite gum as well as LOADS of Airheads and some skittles. Finally, I went to Ulta and bought a couple of NYX items as well as my favourite foundation.

Using Go Send:
I've used other shipping services in the past and they are all pretty similar except GoSend has a really cool element where you copy and paste the links of what you want into the ShopAssist feature, as well as typing in any codes and colour/flavour requests you have along with your size if it is clothing and also the price. Once you've finished adding the items you click submit order; if your card details are already on the system you're good to go! Then is the waiting game, dependant on the time of year and also how many retailers you've ordered from depends on the time it'll take to get to the warehouse. I ordered from FIVE so it took over a week but it depends on the place as I said, as the items arrive at the warehouse they take pics and put them in the locker for you which I think is a super cool added feature and it made me even more excited for my items as well as realising how many Airheads I'd actually bought. Once all of the items are there you click release locker and it will send all of your items to be shipped, you pick the shipping which you want it to arrive via also. I went for a quick one and mine arrived within 3 days with NO customs fees. But that changes in order to order so I couldn't say if you were going to get hit with customs or not.

GoSend is a super fun and awesome shopping website which makes you feel like you really are shopping from the comfort of your home. As GoSend is based in Delaware which is a tax-free state all of the prices are cheaper than other places too as you don't get added fees on from that, win-win.

How To Host A Garden Party (Student Style) | Lifestyle

Good morning guys, I hope you're good! Today I am bringing you a post inspired by the amazing weather we've been having this week (it's actually been Summer like for those of you who don't live in the UK) with that in mind I have decided to create a post on how to have a garden party when you are a student; usually garden parties are more upmarket but I have a bit of an idea to make them a little more student like and fun. THIS IS NOT A BBQ because we are better than that (only joking, it can be whatever you want it to be). I recently wrote a post on having the perfect pizza party if you fancy a read of that; click here.

What you will need to host a garden party:

  • Food (get a mix of vegetarian and meat to suit everyone who is attending)
  • A BBQ
  • Adorable fairy lights to pop around the garden! (The Range do some adorable ones)
  • Lots and lots of booze (or do a BYOB message on Facebook)
  • Red cups (to drink the booze out of and play beer pong)
  • Garlands (always fun)
  • Glow sticks
  • Speakers
  • Paper plates
  • Possibly some chairs and tables (depends how fancy you wanna go)
Start with the food, as pretty much every party needs food. Whether you want to go for traditional BBQ such as sausages, burgers and skewers or a something completely different like a vegetarian alternative such as grilled asparagus and homemade bean burgers it is important to make sure your grill is at the correct temperature. Although you want people to talk about the party you want it to be in a good way and not because they've got food poisoning oops. Also make sure safely grill your meat and keep the meat away from the vegetarian food and you should be good. Everyone knows at a BBQ you need extras a way to keep the costs down for yourself would be to ask everybody to bring something themselves from a pot of coleslaw to some pasta salad or even the sausages. It would be a good idea to get a few tables outside one for the food and another for the drinks and if it is a scorcher of a day grab some buckets and fill them with ice (nobody likes a warm drink).

Next, on to the decorations, I would love to create a magical atmosphere for my garden party but you may be totally different. I would cover the garden in pretty fairy lights, give people a garland and glow sticks and just have a fabulous night; I find the atmosphere later on in the night changes as everyone has had a chance to chat a bit more and is full of food. Crack on some tunes and even light a fire if you're feeling adventurous. Smores is the perfect way to end any party!

A few tips:
  • Plan in advance (so people will actually turn up)
  • Let your neighbours know in advance (keep the peace yo)
  • Get everyone to bring something to keep it cheap
  • Create a playlist beforehand
  • Have a FAAAB night!
BBQ expert Harvester recommends:

  • Using The Hand Test to gauge the temperature of the grill if you don’t have a thermometer. Place your open palm about 5 inches above the grill rack. The heat is high if you have to move your hand in 2 seconds, medium if you have to move your hand in 5 seconds, and low if you have to move your hand in 10 seconds. This will come in handy when cooking delicate proteins or vegetables that need a lower heat or starting steaks low and be finishing over a high heat.

I hope you enjoyed my tips and have a fab garden party (P.s. there is a bank holiday on the 29th)

Breakfast @ Verano Lounge Brighton | Travel

If you follow my Twitter/Instagram you'll probably be aware that I've recently been to Brighton for a few days. During my stay in Brighton I visited some lovely breakfast places, on the first day I was in Brighton I went for breakfast at a place called the Verano Lounge. We had no idea what to expect from the outside but their menu drew is in with the gorgeous food offerings, plus a fabulous sounding vegetarian breakfast and possibly the fact that a free coffee was on offer alongside all of this. When we walked in we knew we had made an awesome choice, the decor around the downstairs was colourful, fun and creative.

We decided to sit upstairs so we had a better view of outside, when we upstairs we were even more impressed. The walls covered in pictures and painting, lots more odd chairs which look so cool together. Lots of tablets of all sizes and the best part was an amazing window which you can look down and see the city. I already knew what I was having as soon as I arrived as I was fancying a vegetarian breakfast, baked beans, hash browns and toast had to happen. Luke went for the traditional breakfast in the end after struggling to decide for some time. Whilst we were waiting for breakfast I was snapping away at the decor as it was too lovely not to and that is when I noticed a book swap, I love the idea of this because it is a great way to do lots of reading without purchasing lots of books and also people can enjoy something you've read.

We were brought our coffees before breakfast and they were a great start to the day and to say they came free they were massive coffees and super yum too. Our breakfast arrived shortly after and mine was full of colour and on a beautiful plate, I was almost dribbling. I loved the added touches which went into the vegetarian breakfast, I am so glad I wasn't facing yet another disgusting vegetarian sausage but actually a courgette and sweetcorn fritter as well as some fried peppers and a side of spinach. Along with the usual beans, hash browns, toast, eggs and mushrooms. When I bit into the toast I was super impressed as it was thick and yummy bread which was dripping with butter (wish I had more than one piece). We left the Verano lounge full and feeling impressed with the offerings for breakfast in Brighton. If you live in Brighton or visiting anytime soon it is totally worth checking out, they offer so many different dishes to suit every palette and it isn't just the usual full English you can get SO many other choices.

Things I'd Do If I Won The Lottery #2 | Lifestyle

Back in March I wrote a post all about the things I would do if I won the lottery and it went down seriously well so I decided I would create a part two of this post! If you wanted to read part one you can do by clicking here. This post is just a bit of fun and I enjoyed writing the first one so much I really wanted to do a second part, let know in the comments what you'd do if you won the lottery.

Go Travelling:
One of the first things I'd want to do is go travelling around America, going to visit lots of different states and experience all of the different foods as well as the lifestyle over there. It's something I've always wanted to do so it would make sense to do so.

Buy A Beach House:
I'd love to have a house near the beach in a different country with lots of rooms, aircon, pretty bathrooms and lovely doors that lead out on to the beach like the ones they offer on Quickslide. I'd love the house to be full of pretty paintings and have a hot tub!

Try To Change The World:
A bit of a long shot but I would do some things which would do some good in the world, whether that be donating to charities, helping people out or just something which could do some good to somebody. I feel like a lot of the problems in the world are due to money so putting some money somewhere could help.

Treat My Friends And Family:
I'd obviously want to help out my family as they have done so much for me in the past, it would be important for me to give something back to them. Whether that be money or just gifts, I'd do whatever I could to help.

Get A New TV:
There are SO many cool TVs around at the moment, I have recently heard of the Panasonic HDR 4K TV which looks insanely good and is massive. The perfect addition to any room to create a cinema styled room. I also love the idea of 4K as it is where the future of TV is. With a boyfriend who works with electronics, this is his dream TV.

Buy ALL Of The Shoes:
I had to have something a little bit shallow on here of course, I would love to create a massive converse collection as well as adding some staple designer shoes to my collection, who wouldn't this though?

Sell Doughnut Merch:
I would love to be able to sell my own doughnut merch at some point and I think this would give me the start I need as well as the funding! Would be something I've wanted to do for ages so it would be perfect to finally make my dream a reality.

What would you do with your lottery winnings?

Colourpop Haul | Beauty

If you are a regular reader of my blog you may be aware that recently I collaborated with the company My Mall Box who allowed me to review their service and pick some goodies from an American site to review their service. If you haven't read my blog before or you didn't know about this collaboration feel free check it out here. As most of you who are fans of Colourpop will know that they're a US only brand but do now currently ship to the UK, When my goodies arrived a few weeks back it was too good of an opportunity not to show you what I picked during my haul and also why I am in love with the brand after this one order. I hope you enjoy this haul and I would love to know in the comments what you have tried from Colourpop.

When the order arrived I was super excited about what had arrived, I looked up the swatches online and I was so excited to see so many pretty sparkly white boxes in the packages (the pictures are missing two Lippie Stix as I ordered two in the same shade). I knew if the pretty packaging was anything to go by  I was in for a treat, I went for five eye shadows and seven Lippie Stix. At first I pulled of the lipsticks out of the packaging and was admiring them as they're so pretty and lovely colours. The same goes for the eyeshadows, I was planning on getting some brighter colours but I recently received the Alice palette and decided to go for something a little different. The eyeshadows are all super pigmented, bright and contain some gorgeous glitter in some of them. I decided I would share with you a first impressions of the Lippie Stix and the eyeshadows to help if you plan on placing an order.

When I received the eyeshadows they were quite a bit smaller than what I was expected, I thought they would be a lot deeper as well. But they did only cost $5 each which is around £3.50 so can't really complain. When I opened them I noticed the eyeshadow looked really spongy and when testing them out with a brush I wasn't wrong. The formula is like a normal shadow but the pot is squishy. When applying it my brush I noticed not a lot came on to the brush but when I applied it I noticed tons appeared to be on my eye so there isn't much needed for a full eye of colour. I found the eyeshadows to be bright and how they appear in the package. The colours I picked (from L-R) were Erotic, Coconut, Snap Dragon, Drift and Nillionaire, my favourite being Erotic. They're great little shadows and easy to be carried around and I will totally be purchasing more in the future.

Lippie Stix:
The Lippie Stix are the main reason I placed the order in the first place as I have heard SO many amazing things about them and so many bloggers rave about them. From the colours I've picked it's totally obvious I am into my pinks and reds (totally wasn't expected Hollywood BLVD to be brown!) The Lippie Stix all have different finishes my favourite being the matte ones which is strange for me as I don't usually like matte products. I love the satin finish too but I found it not as long lasting as the matte. The Lippie Stix are easy to apply and look great when applied and give a full pop of colour (excuse the pun haha). They have a similar lush smell to the MAC lipsticks and I have heard of several of the Colourpop Lippie Stix have been referred to as dupes of MAC lipsticks. Wifey and Scandy are both beautiful bright pink shades and I love them both.
