Christmas Jumpers!

Who can believe that Christmas is less than a month away? I love everything about Christmas from the present wrapping, to the seasonal drinks and the way everyone just seems that bit more jolly around festive times! One of my favourite things in the run up to Christmas is jumpers especially the festive ones, and if you don't own one or have never owned one you haven't lived. As I love Christmas jumpers SO much I actually decided to make a wishlist of the ones which I want and probably will end up going out and buying (too cool right?). I love Christmas jumpers which are sparkly and like nothing else you'd wear at any point of the year and it's only acceptable due to Christmas.

Let me know which your favourite one is in the comments below!

Silver Tree Wishlist!

As Christmas is fast approaching, presents are on most peoples minds including mine and as you get older you turn to more "grown up" gifts such as jewellery and watches and what better way to look at amazing products and share what I love with you guys than a wishlist post! So in an ideal world where money isn't an object these are some of the amazing things I'd love to get my hands on!

1. Michael Korrs Rose Gold Parker Watch// This watch is something I've wanted for a good few years now and I always see it pop up around Christmas time as lots of boyfriends seem to buy their girlfriends these (I wouldn't complain) but I think they watch itself looks classy and elegant and I love the colour and the watch face.

2. Thomas Sabo Rebel At Heart Skull Bracelet// I love this bracelet so much it reminds me of something which I would of worn back in my alternative days, but with the twist that it is £300 more than the ones I used to buy back then, It suits me down to a t with the skulls and the silver looks classy, this bracelet is something I'd love to get my hands on one day!

3. Swarovski  Love Pendant// I am such a big fan of heart necklaces as I think they're super cute, I have been wearing the same one for a while now and it would be nice to treat myself to a nicer one, this is one of the cheaper things on this wishlist at £79.00, it's simple yet very elegant and pretty!

4. DKNY Silver Chronograph Lexington Watch// Who doesn't want a DKNY watch, or anything from DKNY for that matter. I love this watch because it's so simple, and such a pretty design, this is something I would definitely love to get in the future.

5. Links Of London Love Note Sapphire Earrings// Now these Earrings are worth as much as an IPAD mini and they're most beautiful things I think I may have ever set my eyes on, they are Sapphire earrings and beyond lovely, these are something I can only dream of having in my ears (then again I don't think I'd trust myself to wear them!)

Milani Lipstick & Eyeshadow Review.

I've had a huge stack of photos which I have had building up since early August and although I keep taking blog photos I haven't gotten around to writing up posts for all of the products I've been buying over the last few months! These are two products that since I have bought them they have both been used a lot and I thought it was about time that I shared them with you! Some of you may of heard of Milani, others maybe not.

We can't actually purchase Milani products in the UK, but they are great quality for the price that you pay for them. I picked up one of their lipsticks and eye shadows whilst I was in the States, I found their eyeshadow quite interesting as it looks fairly different to most other eye shadows. Their eyeshadows feel and look differently to normal eye shadows in the fact that they're not as powdery, but when you use a brush on them they apply exactly the same as any normal eyeshadow. I love the packaging as I feel it looks quite upmarket fort the product and I love how light they are to carry around. If I ever venture to the states again or I can convince my dad to go on a little shop for me I'll be asking him to get me a range of colours!

The lipstick was a strange one at first when I applied it I'll admit I wasn't a big fan of it as it's quite glossy and shiny, but once I used it a couple of times I felt it growing on me and it's a nice pink colour for when you fancy something a little more simple as opposed to a bright in your face pink, it gives a lovely tint on your lips and smells good too. It's definitely something I'd recommend to any of you in the US (and anywhere else which these products are available to purchase)

Halloween & Christmas Haulin'

I can't get over the fact that it is coming up to Christmas and Halloween once again! My two favourite occasions, I love Halloween for all things dark, the makeup looks, the costumes and creativity and who doesn't love Christmas! Recently Lush and Yankee Candle have launched this years seasonal stock, although it is still a fair while off of Christmas, I love buying all of the Lush Christmas bath bombs and bubble bars and then the Candles from Yankee! Although Lush don't have a Halloween range I found some of the Yankee candle samplers for their Halloween Candles! (I always buy the candle samples first to see if I like them before investing in a full sized one!) I bought a range of different bath melts and bath bombs, I will probably repurchase most of them before Christmas is out as I think they all smell super pretty and I enjoy them more to other products they have throughout the year! I have already started to use the Halloween Samplers as that is coming up and plan on buying a big version before they get rid of the stock.

Hippie Chic

I've always been a fan of chunky bracelets and during my teen years I used to wear them a lot, I usually end up buying a watch and wearing it for a few days then taking it off and it never seems to return to my wrist! Recently I was offered the chance to review a gorgeous watch/bracelet from Hippie Chic. I chose this gorgeous boho watch and bracelet combination and I think it looks super cool, it's not like just a watch as it is on a bracelet strap and attached to several other beaded bracelets. I think it's quite different to other things on the market as it is quite unique and hippie like. The beads are a lovely pretty colour and with the browns and the thread they all blend well together. I've found it useful to have something which is a bracelet with a watch face on! This watch comes in at £22 which I think is great, but they have many other different ones that start from £15 and they all unique and look great on!

Kat Von D Ink Liner!

I'm still making my way from the products I bought whilst I was in the states, but the other day I popped onto to Sephora to look... and ended up placing an order, my bad! So I have another one of these beauties on the way, which I am super excited about. I have always been a fan of pen liners as I am useless at drawing on my eyeliner with the liquid ones which you used to get more of a few years back and since these pen liners have become popular I can finally do eyeliner even the cat eye which I never thought I would be able to do! This eyeliner is a particular favourite of mine because it literally lasts for days (I haven't obviously tried) but I have worn it on a night out and then it was still exactly the same in the morning (tut tut for not taking off my make-up) In fact I know this eyeliner has long staying power due to the length of time I take when it comes to scrubbing it off before I go to bed! I guess that's why it is called the the Ink Liner. The eyeliner is easy to apply and doesn't dry out after a few uses FINALLY an eyeliner that lasts. It's pretty pricy for an eyeliner as far as I usually pay around £2 for mine, but it's worth the money for it. I have a couple of mini ones on stand by for when this runs out and I can hopefully beg my dad to make a trip to Sephora in the future!  I enjoy the packing as to which this eyeliner comes in as it is simple and very Kat Von D like with the stars. I am super excited for my Sephora order with the Kat Von D studded lipsticks in to arrive!

September Favourites!

I don't think I can get over the fact that today is October, where on earth is this year going? I am excited for the next few months as it is Halloween at the end of the month (which I love!) and obviously the build up to Christmas. So September out of the way what did I love during the month, this is my first favorites post and if it goes down well I will be doing more of them!
This month I've been loving:

Make Up Revolution  I finally managed to get my hands on some of their make-up this month after months of meaning to place an order I went into three different towns/cities and they had Makeup Revolution stands, I bought 10 lipsticks and a couple of the eye palettes. My favourite lipstick was this purple lipstick in the shade Scandalous. It's only recent I have been getting into purple lipsticks but this is perfect for autumn and only £1.

MAC Candy Yum Yum I have wanted this shade for sometime, but never got around to picking it up whilst online shopping I decided it would be perfect time to add it and a couple of others to my basket and I have fell in love with it (you can read my review here) although it is quite a summery colour I think it's really girly and pretty and right up my street!

Marc Jacobs Rollerball Daisy I have wanted some Marc Jacobs perfume for sometime, and when I saw this rollerball perfume in Sephora for $25 I had to buy it, it's super handy for my handbag and when going on nights out to refresh your perfume and it's also a good way to see if you enjoy it enough to buy a full sized one.

Smash Box Full Exposure Mascara This was my first Smashbox product that I have tried and I have fell in love with it, the mascara is such good quality and long lasting and I haven't found problems with it, I will be repurchasing a full sized one and using this in my handbag as it's super handy!

Naked 3 Palette This is the most exciting thing I have ever won in a giveaway and my favourite eyeshadow pallette that I own, it has such a range of shades (as I am sure most of you know) and it's awesome to create different eyeshadow looks and I have used it a hell of a lot throughout September.

Maybelline Dream Wonder Foundation After buying this foundation I wasn't really sure what I thought of it, but after using it several times I have decided it's a great lightweight foundation and one of my make-up staples (you can read my full review here)

Maybelline Dream Wonder Foundation

Before I went to the USA and bought The Dream Wonder foundations,  I had read and watched mixed reviews on them, from them being not enough coverage to being up there with other top drugstore foundations, but of course I had to try them for myself.  when I opened them they have a bit of a strange applicator which is a stick with a tear drop shaped applicator on, I assume it's due to the foundation being fluid. I got this foundation in two shades due to being more tanned on holiday and then how pale I am usually. I was unsure after my first use as I didn't feel that it lasted as long as I thought it would do, but I did like how light it felt on my skin so I decided to try the foundation again, after using it a couple more times I learnt to love the foundation for an everyday foundation with less coverage. I enjoy the glass bottle as I feel it gives it that bit more of a high end product feel, rather than your average drugstore one. My favourite thing about this foundation is the fact that it blends in perfectly and looks great when first applied. Although I am not a fan of the applicator at all, it won't put me off of the foundation, and the chances of me repurchasing this is unlikely due to that fact I won't be going near the USA for quite sometime *sad face*

MAC lipstick review// Saint Germain & Candy Yum Yum

It has happened once again, I went on the MAC website and ended up purchasing myself two lipsticks that I have wanted forever and a day, but have never been able to justify buying them out of the blue, so I decided it was finally time and although they are quite bright and summery I am one to wear bright lipsticks all year round so this doesn't bother me.

Saint Germain isn't as bright to wear as Candy Yum Yum, but it is such a pretty light pink colour which looks amazing on, it can be worn to work and university and still stand out, I am used to wearing brighter colours so this is a bit different for me but I loved it all the same! Saint Germain is an amplified creme lipstick makes it more shiny and feels lovely on the lips. The pink of this lipstick reminds me a bit of Barbie, a very girly colour!

Candy Yum Yum is a bright pink and it is a matte lipstick which I do enjoy but its not overly drying which I have found previous matte MAC lipsticks to be! The colour is vibrant and perfect for a night out or a day when I am feeling extra daring, as I am sure most of you will know MAC lipsticks have a massively long staying power and smell like vanilla which I love, and it just tells me it's a MAC lipstick. I love this lipstick and I am sure I will be repurchasing!

USA Snacks!

A bit of a weird but yummy type of post and I am in no means suggesting this is what Americans eat on a daily basis or even at all! So during my recent trip to America I supersized a lot of the food I ate, got stacks and stacks of pancakes and coated them in syrup, brought the brightest most unhealthy cupcakes that I could find and had my fair share of fast food, and why on earth not! Everything food wise is so much more fun than in the UK and I was going to enjoy my USA experience by being as unhealthy as possible, I just thought it would be fun to share with you lovely lot some of the awesome food I ate during my time in the states!

Sephora favourites eyeliners!

During my recent trip to the states I obviously headed for Sephora (on more than one occasion may I add) the first thing that went straight in my basket is something I saw online which was the Sephora favorites kit, I purchased that on the fact it has 6 mini eyeliners in from high end brands (within a few days I had gone back and bought a couple of the full sized eyeliners as I loved them so much) The set was made up of an eyeliner from; Marc Jacobs, NARS, Urban Decay, Kat Von D, Stila & Sephora (the perfect brands for us bloggers hey?) There is a mix of pen eyeliners and pencil ones, and I can't faullt any of them, the kit cost $30 dollars which is an amazing price as it has $75 dollars with of product in.

I dived straight in trying the MARC JACOBS liner which is beyond amazing, I didn't get a chance to go back and purchase a full sized liner, but hopefully I will be able to get my hands on one eventually, I used the eyeliner to do my waterline as it is a pencil one, it is very easy to apply and doesn't smudge leaving the perfect line which is long lasting also. The liner is a twist up one and is small and stores easily within a purse, perfect for eyeliner top ups! Secondly I tried the Kat Von D eyeliner which I purchased a full sized one of after applying it once, it applied easily and lasted all day and looks dark! The eyeliner is a liquid one in a pen form which I am instantly attracted to.

The Sephora eyeliner was the one I liked least from the set, it is a pencil liner which I found harder to apply and it smudged whilst applying, although it was long lasting it isn't really anything special. The Stila eyeliner is amazing for the fact it applies perfectly and is long lasting but the colour it came isn't really for me, as it is brown although it is a great product! NARS eyeliner, I thought I would love this to the moon and back and although I like it, it's nothing special for the money it costs which is a shame as it is easy to re-purchase, it didn't apply as easily as the others and wasn't that long lasting but when first applies creates a lovely dark eyeline and is great if you top it up often. The final eyeliner which was a full sized one is the Urban Decay one, I haven't even attempted to use the purple side yet, but I have used the black one and love it, and will be repurchasing, another long lasting one which is easy to apply. I shall be using the purple one for a makeup look or maybe for halloween?

I have done a full review of the Kat Von D liner here.

Freshers & Giveaway!

It feels like only yesterday I was starting at university and now I am going into my second year! For those of you who are just starting there is no need to panic although everything is different (the environment, the work etc.) Uni is pretty amazing and you'll have an awesome time. The main reason for this post is to chat to you about one of the main things of student life which everyone looks forward to, FRESHERS. So what is freshers? Basically its a week or two of getting very drunk and meeting new people who are at your university.

For this post I have complied my top tips for getting through freshers and having the best time:
1. Drink a lot of water, if you drink a lot although alcohol is a liquid it actually makes you more dehydrated which usually leaves you feeling worse than ever the next day!
2. Plan in advance, this is a strange one but what I mean by that is see what different theme of nights there are going on and if you don't think you hack them all go to the ones which are recommended or take your fancy, or go to the ones at the start of the week as you'll feel rough by the end.
3. Eat before a night out, being a student myself I am aware that if you eat a lot before you go out it takes longer to get drunk, but it's a good idea to eat something light beforehand.
4. Make up a hangover kit: mine consists of hash browns (always something which helps me when I feel rough), paracetamol, pepsi max and vitamin tablets.

Intellicig are giving you lovely readers a chance to win your own kit of everything pictured below by following and entering via the giveaway below:

I was provided with my own freshers kit and one to giveaway*

Universal Studios!

Most of you are aware that I have just been on a two week trip to Florida, and during my time there I went to a lot of different places including Universal Studios which I was most excited about, although I am not a big fan of rides (understatement) I found some different things which I went on! The park was a lot bigger than I thought it would be and rammed as we decided to go on labor day weekend as we didn't think it through! The park consisted of different things made by universal including Despicable Me, Harry Potter, The Simpsons, A Tornado Simulator & ET.  There's not really much to say about it, apart from if you visit Florida take a trip it's well worth the money and get a toffee apple they're amazing! Just a little warning this post consists of a fair few photos!
